Nothing is so out of reach, to all the various people of the world, and so deeply controlling and personal, as ones concept of god.
My experience in life has showed me little or none of these supernatural beings, or their existence.
After witnessing the carnage of humanity, I am not so quick to embrace any god, lf any so-called being that could dictate, codify behavior and precepts of an entire society or race.
Is morality not an internal force of a being, and if it is, are principles the to be dictated or felt?
And following the question of the gods: Are these named entities actual beings, or are they, manifestations or shared beliefs?
Are the dark evil because they follow the precepts of evil, or a culmination of the evil conduct?
When an army charges across the tundra of war, and shouting in the name of god, are the following precepts of god, or is the cry to god merely the idealized name they give to their actions?
This I cannot answer, nor can any one else, n mater how loudly, they - particular priest, ministers, and belief leaders- might argue otherwise.
In the end, to a preacher’s ultimate sorrow, the choice of a god is a personal one, and the alignment to a being is in accord with one’s internal code of principles.
A missionary might coerce and trick would-be disciples, but no rational being can truly follow the determined orders of any god-figure if those orders run contrary to ones tenets.
The gods of humanity are many and varied- or they are the many and varied names and identities tagged onto the same being.
I know not which - and care not which is believed.

Guess WHO I AM
* I was born in one country, raised in another. My father was born in another country. I was not his only child. He fathered several children with numerous women
* I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me. My mother died at an early age from cancer..
* Later in life, questions arose over my real name.
* My birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate.
* I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my country, but I practiced non-traditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity, except in the public eye under scrutiny.
* I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult, disguising myself as someone who really cared about them..
* That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career.
* I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.
* I became active in local politics in my 30's then with help behind the scenes, I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for National office in my 40s. They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything. That reinforced my conceit..
* I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.
* I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances. This bolstered my ego.
* At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy. I was very critical of my country in the last war and seized every opportunity to bash my country.
* But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy. I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better and every poor person would be fed & housed for free.
* I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations. I decided to start making citizens hate them and if they were envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight.
* I called mine "A People's Campaign" and that sounded good to all people.
* I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics & was able to gain widespread popular support.
* I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope' , together we could change our country and the world.
* So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include "persecuted minorities". My true views were not widely known & I needed to keep them unknown, until after I became my nation's leader.
* I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found out what I really believed, if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with.
* I'm glad they didn't. Then I became the most powerful man in the world. And the world learned the truth.

MAY GOD BLESS THIS AIRLINE CAPTAIN:
He writes: My lead flight attendant came to me and said, "We have an H.R. on this flight." (H.R. stands for human remains.) "Are they military?" I asked.
'Yes', she said.
'Is there an escort?' I asked.
'Yes, I already assigned him a seat'.
'Would you please tell him to come to the flight deck. You can board him early," I said..
A short while later, a young army sergeant entered the flight deck. He was the image of the perfectly dressed soldier. He introduced himself and I asked him about his soldier. The escorts of these fallen soldiers talk about them as if they are still alive and still with us.
'My soldier is on his way back to Virginia ,' he said. He proceeded to answer my questions, but offered no words.
I asked him if there was anything I could do for him and he said no. I told him that he had the toughest job in the military and that I appreciated the work that he does for the families of our fallen soldiers. The first officer and I got up out of our seats to shake his hand. He left the flight deck to find his seat.
We completed our preflight checks, pushed back and performed an uneventful departure. About 30 minutes into our flight I received a call from the lead flight attendant in the cabin. 'I just found out the family of the soldier we are carrying, is on board', she said. She then proceeded to tell me that the father, mother, wife and 2-year old daughter were escorting their son, husband, and father home. The family was upset because they were unable to see the container that the soldier was in before we left. We were on our way to a major hub at which the family was going to wait four hours for the connecting flight home to Virginia .
The father of the soldier told the flight attendant that knowing his son was below him in the cargo compartment and being unable to see him was too much for him and the family to bear. He had asked the flight attendant if there was anything that could be done to allow them to see him upon our arrival. The family wanted to be outside by the cargo door to watch the soldier being taken off the airplane.. I could hear the desperation in the flight attendants voice when she asked me if there was anything I could do.. 'I'm on it', I said. I told her that I would get back to her.
Airborne communication with my company normally occurs in the form of e-mail like messages. I decided to bypass this system and contact my flight dispatcher directly on a secondary radio. There is a radio operator in the operations control center who connects you to the telephone of the dispatcher. I was in direct contact with the dispatcher.. I explained the situation I had on board with the family and what it was the family wanted. He said he understood and that he would get back to me.
Two hours went by and I had not heard from the dispatcher. We were going to get busy soon and I needed to know what to tell the family. I sent a text message asking for an update. I saved the return message from the dispatcher and the following is the text:
'Captain, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. There is policy on this now and I had to check on a few things. Upon your arrival a dedicated escort team will meet the aircraft. The team will escort the family to the ramp and plane side. A van will be used to load the remains with a secondary van for the family. The family will be taken to their departure area and escorted into the terminal where the remains can be seen on the ramp. It is a private area for the family only. When the connecting aircraft arrives, the family will be escorted onto the ramp and plane side to watch the remains being loaded for the final leg home. Captain, most of us here in flight control are veterans. Please pass our condolences on to the family. Thanks.'
I sent a message back telling flight control thanks for a good job. I printed out the message and gave it to the lead flight attendant to pass on to the father. The lead flight attendant was very thankful and told me, 'You have no idea how much this will mean to them.'
Things started getting busy for the descent, approach and landing. After landing, we cleared the runway and taxied to the ramp area. The ramp is huge with 15 gates on either side of the alleyway. It is always a busy area with aircraft maneuvering every which way to enter and exit. When we entered the ramp and checked in with the ramp controller, we were told that all traffic was being held for us.
'There is a team in place to meet the aircraft', we were told. It looked like it was all coming together, then I realized that once we turned the seat belt sign off, everyone would stand up at once and delay the family from getting off the airplane. As we approached our gate, I asked the copilot to tell the ramp controller we were going to stop short of the gate to make an announcement to the passengers. He did that and the ramp controller said, 'Take your time.'
I stopped the aircraft and set the parking brake. I pushed the public address button and said, 'Ladies and gentleman, this is your Captain speaking I have stopped short of our gate to make a special announcement. We have a passenger on board who deserves our honor and respect. His Name is Private XXXXXX, a soldier who recently lost his life. Private XXXXXX is under your feet in the cargo hold. Escorting him today is Army Sergeant XXXXXXX. Also, on board are his father, mother, wife, and daughter. Your entire flight crew is asking for all passengers to remain in their seats to allow the family to exit the aircraft first. Thank you.'
We continued the turn to the gate, came to a stop and started our shutdown procedures. A couple of minutes later I opened the cockpit door. I found the two forward flight attendants crying, something you just do not see. I was told that after we came to a stop, every passenger on the aircraft stayed in their seats, waiting for the family to exit the aircraft.
When the family got up and gathered their things, a passenger slowly started to clap his hands. Moments later more passengers joined in and soon the entire aircraft was clapping. Words of 'God Bless You', I'm sorry, thank you, be proud, and other kind words were uttered to the family as they made their way down the aisle and out of the airplane. They were escorted down to the ramp to finally be with their loved one.
Many of the passengers disembarking thanked me for the announcement I had made. They were just words, I told them, I could say them over and over again, but nothing I say will bring back that brave soldier.
I respectfully ask that all of you reflect on this event and the sacrifices that millions of our men and women have made to ensure our freedom and safety in these United States of AMERICA .

As a Viet Nam Veteran I can only think of all the veterans including the ones that rode below the deck on their way home and how they were treated. When I read things like this I am proud that our country has not turned their backs on our soldiers returning from the various war zones today and give them the respect they so deserve.
I know everyone who has served their country who reads this will have tears in their eyes, including me.

'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen..'

War and Veterans
VIET NAM the war no one wanted.
As early as the late 1950's advisory troops were sent to Viet Nam, to assist the South Vietnamese Government. When John Kennedy assumed the office of President, he met with Charles DeGaulle, then President of France. DeGaulle advised, after many years of experience with Viet Nam, that the U.S. should not get heavily involved in that country. Kennedy concurred, stating that the U.S. troops must be limited to advisors only. Kennedy established the first Special Forces groups, to be trained in assisting and educating not only South Viet Nam troops, but other nations seeking freedom.
But circumstances of history altered the policy Kennedy had set, by placing a new president in charge of the U.S.

As early as the late 1950's advisory troops were sent to Viet Nam, to assist the South Vietnamese Government. When John Kennedy assumed the office of President, he met with Charles DeGaulle, then President of France. DeGaulle advised, after many years of experience with Viet Nam, that the U.S. should not get heavily involved in that country. Kennedy concurred, stating that the U.S. troops must be limited to advisors only. Kennedy established the first Special Forces groups, to be trained in assisting and educating not only South Viet Nam troops, but other nations seeking freedom.
But circumstances of history altered the policy Kennedy had set, by placing a new president in charge of the U.S.

Age Discrimination in the Work Place
The law is specific with regards to Age Discrimination, but it can be hard to define. If ignored it can lead to intimidating work environment, moral problems, and advancement opportunities that
fail.
For the beginning in avoiding age discrimination is understanding exactly what it is, and identifying the problem. One effective proposal is appraisal of the organizations culture, and make up, preventive training at all levels, and a strong committeemen for a work environment for all ages.
In today’s work force there has been an increase in Age Discrimination as early as the thirties. By the time someone reaches their forties, in some fields they are considered finished.
In many cases considering to be old is only part of the factor. Experienced older candidates are considered to expensive for the position, then a younger person who would get less money, and benefits.
There are over 16 million workers over age fifty five seeking employment. Which includes long years of experience, and education. Workers should get, or keep their jobs based on abilities, and not age.
Effective, and specific training at all levels, explaining the policies, with in depth instructions, on detailing with age discrimination. Training should go beyond just information to actual changes in behavior. Peer reinforcement will help, alo0ng with encouraging employees when the see harassment, or discrimination themselves.
There are a number of ways to set examples, and encourage an older work force. Remember the candidate that is old enough to retire in a few years, may end up with you a lot longer.
Encouraging a mentor program between older, and experienced works, with the younger staff members. This imparts knowledge accumulated over a number of years, to be past down to the younger employees, with less experience, and less knowledge.
Keep pin mind the skills, education, and potential. Overlooked the age issues.
Allow older and younger employees to be paired on projects. Each then will learn from the other.
Develop a plan or structure for all employment interviews, regardless of age, and stick to it.
Remove the date of birth from application forms, concentrate only on skill levels, education, and abilities.
Employees and applicants can go to court. They can file with the Employment Opportunity Commission (EOC), who will review the charges before proceeding to court. Few actually proceed to court, either being settled before, or determined to be unfounded.
But even if the EOC determines it does not meet their criteria, the applicant or employee still can file in court, where they tend a better chance or winning.
Age Discrimination is illegal, and even if the EOC finds in favor of the employer, there can be the embarrassment of public ridicule, in a court battle. Many lawyers seek coverage by news media of any type of age discrimination case. This in turn sets up the corporation to loose in the long run, and the could be extravagant.
The safest, and best direction to follow is not to subject employees, and applicants to age discrimination.

Only whites are racist
Only whites are racist.
The following was offered as a defense in a racial court case. And regrettable the remarks are true. In our society only whites are accused of being racist, while other ethnic groups can say or do anything, and never be charged as racist. The defense brings out a number of blatant examples of blatant ethnic racism directed at whites.
Although I do not condone any form of racism, the remarks are a striking representation of our society today. It is overlooked, ignored, and rarely if ever covered in the media. There is a fear of even discussing the problem, fear that some group will be offended. I do not advocate white supremacy, but I do advocate fair play. And this set of remarks do not indicate any fair play on the behalf of whites. It is time to look our racial standars, and find a just common ground. How many are actually paying attention?

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that??
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...You know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US .
Yet if there were 'White colleges' That would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud...But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists??

I sadly don't think many will. That's why we have lost most of OUR RIGHTS

War from 1900 to 2000 and Veterans rights. Who speakc for the vets?
WAR from 1900 to 2000, and Veterans rights. Who puts vets in harms way? And why don't they do something for vets?
Since as early as World War One, veterans have never had the support, caring, or respect, they deserve.And you be surprised who which group elected officials is the least likely to support vets, or the military.
WORLD WAR ONE Veterans:
Bonus Army March in Washington in the summer of 1932. At the end of World War One, which was organized because the Crash of 1929 wiped out many veterans' savings and jobs, forcing them out into the streets. Groups of veterans began to organize and petition the government to pay them their cash bonus, which had been held up since being separated after the war. By the end of May 1932, over 3,000 veterans and their families had made their way to Washington D.C.
Most of them lived in a collection of makeshift huts and tents on the mud flats by the Anacostia River outside of the city limits.
In June, the Patman Bonus Bill, which proposed immediate payment of the veterans' cash bonuses, was debated in the House of Representatives. There was stiff resistance primarily by the controlling party in both houses of congress.
The weather and the rhetoric grew hotter, concern grew that the Bonus Army Marchers could cause widespread civil disorder and violence. There were scuffles with the police and some Senators' cars were stoned by unruly crowds of veterans.
On July 28, 1932, two veterans were shot and killed by panicked policemen in a riot at the bottom of Capitol Hill.
This provided the final stimulus. and The controlling party of both houses forced the President of the U.S. to order Ralph Furley, the Secretary of War, to tell GeneralDouglas Macarthur, then the Army Chief of Staff, that he wished the Bonus Army Marchers evicted from Washington.
Troops from nearby Forts Myer and Washington were ordered in to remove the Bonus Army Marchers from the streets by force.
One battalion from the 12th Infantry Regiment and two squadrons of the 3rd Cavalry Regiment (under the command of Major George S. Patton, who had taken over as second in command of the Regiment less than three weeks earlier) concentrated at the Ellipse just west of the White House.
At 4:00 p.m. the infantrymen donned gas masks and fixed bayonets, the cavalry drew sabres, and the whole force (followed by several light tanks) moved down Pennsylvania Avenue to clear it of people.In the finale outcome few to no World War One vet received assistance, and were not given the care for gas poison used during the war.
The CONTROLLING PARTY of both congressional houses? DEMOCRATS

Again in September, October, and November of 1941, intelligence sources continued to brief the President on the strength, and where about of the Japanese Naval Fleet. The intelligence community insisted and advised that the fleet was heading directly to the Haiwain Islands.
The President again ordered the information to be suppressed, and NO action was to be taken.On December 7th, 1941, the Japanese fleet attach Pearl Harbor, Haiwaiin.Who sat as U.S. President?
Roosevelt, DEMOCRAT
Ending WORLD WAR TWO in the Pacific:The time to surrender had come, the Japanese government sent a peace offer and surrender through neutral Sweden, Soviet Union, and Switzerland as early as May 1945.
Again in July 28, 1945 the Japanese government issued a carefully worded response to the Potsdam Declaration.
Both offers were hand delivered to the President of the United States by both Sweden, and Switzerland.
The Soviet Union embraced the surrender, and it was discussed with the U.S. President.
The U.S. President chose to ignore the unconditional surrender of the Japanese. The president also chose to move forward with his plan to open a new form of weapon and war.
Ordering first the bombing of Hiroshima, in August 1945, and the the second bombing of Nagasaki, the U.S. President unleashed Atomic war on the world.
Who sat as U.S. President? Harry S. Truman, DEMOCRAT
SKOREA, the war every one wants to forget.
An agreement was reached between the two occupying forces (U.S. and U.S.S.R.) splitting the country in half at the 38th parallel. The Russians withdrew its troops in 1948, turning the government over to North Korea to run the country.
On orders of the president of the U.S., American troops remained in South Korea in hopes it would antagonize the North Koreans into a war.
The then president acted with out the consent of congress, as all previously war engagements required.
In the early hours of June 25th 1950, North Korea sent its troops across the border in a massive attack on South Korea. The South Korean, and U.S. troops on the border were overrun and destroyed, and very quickly the Communists were on their way to the South Korean Capitol of Seoul.
The country with the nearest military units was the U.S. with forces in Japan, and on the 27th of June 1950, of the President ordered U.S. Air Force and Naval units to assist South Korea.
Again without the benefit of approval or agreement of the congress of the U.S.
On the 28th June 1950 the North Koreans entered and captured Seoul, and two days later the U.S. President authorized the use of American ground forces to help South Korea, continuing his disregard for the approval, or agreement of the U.S. congress.
The war that was given the ridiculous name of "Police Action" was starting in earnest, war is always war.
These men were poorly trained and ill equipped to fight a war. The U.S. military had badly deteriated since 1945 thanks to a government that largely ignored their needs, and training. Once again young Americans paid the price with their blood because of the folly of our politicians who ignored the lessons of the past that if you ignore your military there will someday be hell to pay. One of the deadliest war in history, it took many lives in such a short span of time of three years
Even after all these deaths, maiming, and injuries to young U. S. men and women, the conflict isn't completely resolved in Korea. There are still American troops stationed in South Korea, as of the year 2008.
The Korean War has never been settled or resolved. Currently there is only a Cease Fire, and conferences go on to resolve the war. The then president of the U.S. involved the American troops primarily on the encouragement of certain close friends, and associates, along with Congressional leaders, who had their own, or friends who had an interest in the war, and Korea.
The Korean war would eventually benefit a number of top ranking congressional leaders, along with the U.S. President.

Once again young Americans paid the price with their blood because of the folly of our politicians who ignored the lessons of the past that if you ignore your military there will someday be hell to pay. One of the deadliest war in history, it took many lives in such a short span of time of three years
Even after all these deaths, maiming, and injuries to young U. S. men and women, the conflict isn't completely resolved in Korea. There are still American troops stationed in South Korea, as of the year 2008.
The Korean War has never been settled or resolved. Currently there is only a Cease Fire, and conferences go on to resolve the war. The then president of the U.S. involved the American troops primarily on the encouragement of certain close friends, and associates, along with Congressional leaders, who had their own, or friends who had an interest in the war, and Korea.
The Korean war would eventually benefit a number of top ranking congressional leaders, along with the U.S. President.
Who sat as U.S. President? Harry S. Truman, DEMOCRAT
The USA history for the 20th Century has been one of war, war, and more war. Much of it unjustified.
And I know I served in one of those wars.
